In this work we test certain aspects of the duality between gravity in the bulk space-time and field theory on its boundary proposed by Maldacena1. In particular, we investigate the precise relation proposed by Witten2. The bulk space-time is assumed to be asymptotically AdS. It can be shown3 that such duality implies the following relation between Green's functions of the two theories: GCFT(x,y)=lim r→∞ r~2△GB(xr, yr), where r is the radial AdS coordinate, (x, y) is a pair of points on the boundary and lim limr→∞(xr,yr)=(x,y).
