Indoor temperature is produced by the consumers as a consumer goods and it is produced by the producers as a factor of production. Energy is bought at the market and the heating systems and buildings are used to produce indoor temperature. The consumers maximizes their utility and the producers are using the least costly way of producing any output. The consumers have the same sensibility to low indoor temperatures when they work for the producers. At the outdoor temperature 21.7°C the indoor temperature will be 21.7°C without heating. The utility level will be the disposable income and one input hour will give one output hour. For a consumer at the outdoor temperature 0°C the maximum utility level is 93.9 % of the disposable income. 6 % is used to produce the indoor temperature 21°C and 0.1% is lost. For a producer of output hours (office) at the outdoor temperature 0°C the highest output of an input hour is 99.68375 %. 0.316 % is used to produce the indoor temperature 21.665°C and 0.00025% is lost.
