THE ASSOCIATION OF HOME ENVIRONMENT AND LIFE STYLE WITH CHILDREN ASTHMA IN BEIJING, CHINA: A CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY

摘要

Indoor air environments change dramatically due to over decoration and reduction of ventilation. Meanwhile, asthma, the most common chronic disease of childhood, is more and more popular all around the world. It is suspected that indoor environments have some influences to the increases in asthma. In 2010, Tsinghua University, Chongqing University and other 10 universities launched the China-Children-Homes-Health (CCHH) study. The present study is a part of CCHH. The aims of this study are to estimate the prevalence of asthma among 1-8-year-old children in Beijing, and to identify home environmental risk factors associated with children's asthma.
