摘要

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of operational realities of gradated venetian blinds on the satisfaction ratings of high-school students and psychological quantity in classrooms. Conventionally, daylight is used to brighten classrooms; however, daylight from large windows leads to increased thermal load and glare. Blinds or curtains may be used to solve these problems but it cannot be ascertained that they are being operated effectively. Results show that they cut down power consumption and increase satisfaction if they are operated adequately. However, students don't operate blinds regularly due to usage difficulty, so we need plans to evolve the abilities of the blind while reducing the frequency of operation.
