THE MACHINES, STRUCTURES AND MECHANISMS ON THE TRAIAN'S COLUMN

The Traian's Column, built at Rome in year 113 is an important structure of the Antiquity: On it, it is remarked the bridge over Danube at Drobeta, for which it is indicate some different technical solutions. It is, also, analyzed the ballistas used by besieged Dacians. These are machines similar to those described by Vitruviu. It is minutely presented a war machine on column, different to those of that epoch, hard to interpret, for which it is given some variant solutions.
