Applying MDSOC to Web Applications

Web applications have become very complex and crucial, especially when combined with areas such as CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and BPR (Business Process Reengineer-ing), the scientific community has focused attention to Web application design, development, analysis, and testing, by studying and proposing methodologies and tools.This paper describes an approach to apply multi-dimensional separation of concerns (MDSOC) to Web applications through Object-Oriented Web modeling. This technique may support "sliced" analysis of Web software, by focusing on particular aspects/concerns (concept, goal, purpose, etc.)-Moreover this paper shows the use of this approach to document, understand and to test Web applications.This approach is the first step of a path that we are trailing at our laboratory in the development of the WAAT (Web Application Analysis and Testing) project.
