摘要

The gas sensitive properties (sensitivity, selectivity, response and recovery time) of poly(methyl-methacrylate)/commercial carbon black composite thin films have been improved realizing resistive sensing devices based on composites obtained with different polymeric insulating matrix or through modification in poly(methyl-methacrylate) matrix. Further improvements have been obtained studying the influence of the filler structure, concentration and type on film characteristics. Composites with carbon nanotubes and home made carbon nanoparticles have been prepared and corresponding sensor device responses to different VOCs have been studied.
