摘要

In this paper a novel agent based approach to designing and evaluating the work environment of socio-technical systems is presented. The Work Environment Analysis modeling and design method is described as a tool that can be used for system wide design and evaluation of socio-technical systems. The work environment is represented as a collection of all work related aspects of the surroundings of the people or agents in the system. Physical and process aspects of the work environment are specifically discussed in the context of an air traffic control system design problem.
