摘要

This work studies the effect of vibrations experienced on ships on the behaviour of human operators performing a visual detection task. The experimental task, which is coupled with three vibration levels varying in amplitude, consists in detecting presence or absence of signals of change in position on a radar screen. The largeness of the effects of the vibration levels on both objective and subjective variables is analysed. A model of human reaction to vibrations is proposed, which consists in introducing three internal thresholds of sensitivity to disturbances.
