The study of personality in subjects with erectile dysfunction has been the theme of many studies. A psychological study was conducted on a Group of 52 men considered to penis prosthesis use for erectile dysfunction. As a tool it was used the Machover Test for the study of personality. The drawings reflected important manifestations of a difficulty for the coordination between impulse and control. Most of the subjects were evasive (71.1%), with an expression of necessitation of affection or help (57.6%). A noted hostility concerning the drawing of the feminine figure was observed (65.3%). The Machover Test proved highly effective at providing elements about the necessities, motivations, interests, conflicts, and habitual patterns of conduct that characterize the way the studied individuals behave.
