TELE-MAINTENANCE FOR IMPROVEMENT OF PERFORMANCES IN TPM AND RCM

Performance of production systems is firstly presented as the balanced obtaining of relevance, efficiency, effectiveness and effectively. We justify then Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) as leverage on performance, according to the principles of systemics. We show then that performance of production systems is improved if they are precise, rapid, robust and stable, and that these characteristics can be amplified with tele-maintenance. An application of a tele-maintenance tool (CASIP) in such a context is finally presented, and we document the consequences on performance.
