THERMOSET EPDM BONDABLE TPV FOR EPDM WEATHERSEAL CORNER MOLDING

Corner molding for thermoset EPDM weatherseal products is traditionally done with EPDM and requires a long cure time.Thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV) generally do not adhere well to thermoset EPDM and are not suitable for EPDM corner molding.Solvay Engineered Polymers has developed a new line of non-hygroscopic corner molding grade TPV products that offer excellent adhesion to thermoset EPDM.These products span the 45 Shore A to 90 Shore A hardness range,and offer superior elastomeric resiliency,excellent weatherability and processability,as well as a close match to thermoset EPDM in appearance.
