Design of a Low Diffraction Iris for the Admittance Tunnel

摘要

In this paper, a low diffraction iris for use in admittance tunnels is designed using the finite-difference time-domain method (FDTD). The new iris reduces the "hot spots" phenomena caused by the diffraction of a traditional square iris and significantly improves the accuracy of material property measurements.
