In many steel rolling Factories . Recoiler is commonly equipments to roll steel-belt into a cylinder. Because the rolling procedure is continuum, but in fact it is very difficult to roll steel-belt trim without position control, so position rectifying control system is needed in rolling procedure, such a control system is named edge position control (E.P.C). In this paper, position rectifying control system is presented to realize rolling trim by automatic system. The position rectifying control system is designed based on single chip microcomputer. In order to get high precision, new typical high accuracy sensors- photo electricity sensor has been adopted, and a self-adapting adjust hydraulic pressure clique has been used to provide appropriate control. In control algorithm, because the plant is difficult to modeling, fuzzy control algorithm is used in the system and several parameters are designed to adjust according to the actual running effect in producing locale. Based on this design, this control system has been used in factual steel producing. There are some advantages, such as running good reliability, high precision roll steel-belt, and it is easy to adjust parameters for worker. Comparison with manual control the automatic position rectifying control system is robust to steel-belt shape. Results show this system is effective.
