New HDTV (1920 x 1080) phase-only SLM

摘要

Here we present a new developed phase-only LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon)spatial light modulator (SLM) based on an electrically controlled birefringence(ECB) liquid crystal mode for wave front control as well as for dynamicdiffractive optics applications, optical tweezing, digital holography andbeam/pulse shaping. Three versions have been developed and investigated: One is designed for a 2πphase modulation in the visible wavelength range (420nm-800nm) the secondone, with a thicker LC cell, for near IR wavelength range applications (2it phasemodulation for up to 1064nm) and the third one provides a phase shift of 2it upto 1550nm.
