Private Productive Investment and Developmental Incentives

This article includes delimitations and reflections for subjects of private productive investments and developmental incentives. The writer's opinion is that the Greek Scientific community has not dealt systematically with the subject of developmental/investment incentives, while the Greek Legislation approached at periods the incentives according to short time horizons and not always with particular "boldness". Furthermore, the writer claims that the incentives are proved beneficial for an economy, when their cost for the State of reception is not bigger than the profits derived by the investor. Finally, the writer proposes a series of measures on several levels: Political, Legislative and Modernization of the Administrative Structures of Greece, in order to facilitate these private productive investments and developmental investment incentives, in order to assist Greece's regional development.
