摘要

In fast switching applications parasitic inductance causes excessive voltage at the switching device and increased switch off losses in the semiconductors. With an intelligent module concept the total inductance, the voltage stress and switching losses can be minimized. The following paper describes the new module concept, the implementation on PCB level and the possible improvements in parasitic inductance, turn off over voltage and switching losses.
