Variable Speed Motion: A Key to Energy Savings in China

摘要

The adoption of energy-efficient, variable speed drives represents an opportunity to reduce motor energy usage in China by approximately 10 percent. The engineering challenge is to provide energy-efficient control simply and cost effectively for the high volume appliance market. This paper will present a roadmap for lower cost variable speed motor drives using an actual example of a complete, integrated design platform for appliance applications.
