摘要

A new Mixed Integer Linear Programming algorithm is proposed to resolve the light-tree routing and wavelength assignment problem with sparse wavelength conversion in this paper. The constraints of limited branching capability of the multicasting capability OXC are considered in our system. Also our formulation is applicable to multi-fiber systems. Numerical results are given and discussed to show the efficiency of our algorithm. Our study shows that only a small number of wavelength converters and sparse MC-OXCs in the network is enough to reduce the network resources.
