The Application of Gas Assisted Injection Molding In Plastic Parts

Indicated the process of Gas assisted injection molding (GAIM) and the effect of the key parameter on processing. Take example for embroider shell, investigated the advantage between the conventional injection molding (CIM) and GAIM. Then, introduced a kind of means, which combine the CAE technique to Taguchi means, for finding optimization parameter. The results show that GAIM can reduce material, eliminate sink marks, diminish different shrinkage and residual stress, improve finish surface, boost up stability of dimension.
