Controlling New Preservative Systems Management through Computer Processing Control

Scott Beardsell: 1 am going to speak from down here today because I believe podiums were invented for tall guys. I can't even see over the top of that thing, so I am going to do it from here if that is okay by you. Alright we are going to talk about computer process control. This is a lot different from everything that I have heard today. Everything has been about chemistry and this is totally different. What you see on the screen is basically where Osmose resides today as far as the wood preservinggoes. I am out of the Griffin, Georgia office and that is where we are basically based. We are talking about two things: One, the new preservatives and what they have done to today's treating facilities; and two, what we expect to have as far as controls go in order to manage the capability of that plant.
