摘要

Self-reported medical evidence shows that a high percentage of Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen (SWCC) sustain impact injuries from high speed craft operation. NSWC-PC and the Naval Health Research Center, San Diego, under sponsorship of the Office of Naval Research and the U.S. Special Operations Command, have engaged in a one-year exposure investigation to quantify the causal relationship between craft dynamic exposure and adverse health outcomes. The NSWC-PC role during this past year has been the acquisition of continuous dynamics data from ten Naval Special Warfare (NSW) craft using an in-house developed dynamics data acquisition system. The current system collects the full time history of three-axis deck acceleration during training missions undertaken by each of the ten craft. This paper describes the current data collection hardware and procedures, limitations with the current system, improvements to the system that are under development, and plans for future dynamic exposure measurements.
