Space-borne microwave scatterometer is a radar specifically designed to measure the ocean surface wind field(including wind speed and direction). space-borne microwave scatterometer is one of the main payloads for oceanic satellites or meteorological satellites. The purpose of a space-borne microwave scatterometer is to obtain very accurate and quantitative measurement. In reality, the signal received from antenna sidelobes of space-borne microwave scatterometer can contaminate the anticipant signal received from antenna mainlobe, which has an impact on the precision in scatterometer measurement. The working of this paper is to analyse antenna sibelobes effect on the measurement of ocean microwave scatterometer, and put forward the method of eliminating.
