Space-borne microwave scatterometer is a radar specifically designed to measure the ocean surface windfield(including wind speed and direction). space-borne microwave scatterometer is one of the main payloads foroceanic satellites or meteorological satellites. The purpose of a space-borne microwave scatterometer is to obtainvery accurate and quantitative measurement. In reality, the signal received from antenna sidelobes of space-bornemicrowave scatterometer can contaminate the anticipant signal received from antenna mainlobe, which has animpact on the precision in scatterometer measurement. The working of this paper is to analyse antenna sibelobeseffect on the measurement of ocean microwave scatterometer, and put forward the method of eliminating.
