Development of electric propulsion thrusters for small spacecraft in RIAME MAI

摘要

A review of research and development of the Research Institute of Applied Mechanics and Electrodynamics of Moscow Aviation Institute in the field of electric propulsion of low power intended for small spacecraft is presented. Three types of electric propulsion are considered: ablative pulsed plasma thrusters, stationary plasma thrusters and radio-frequency ion thrusters.
