Space-based astronomical observations, high resolution earth observations and other imaging spacecraft put forward ultrahigh precision pointing, ultrahigh stability and ultrahigh agility requirements for control performance. However, space optical payloads pointing control performance is seriously reduced by the vibration produced by the spacecraft flexible attachment and control moment gyros, etc. To improve the space optical payloads pointing control performance, researchers have designed a new spacecraft platform named SC (San-chao, means THREE-SUPER performance) spacecraft platform. SC spacecraft platform provides a platform with ultrahigh precision pointing, ultrahigh stability and ultrahigh agility control capabilities for space optical payloads. Based on the multi-stage integrated control technology, SC spacecraft platform is expected to achieve 3-axis pointing accuracy of 0.1" and pointing stability over 50ms of 0.005". Compared with the pointing performance of existing spacecraft, SC spacecraft platform has greatly improved the optical payloads pointing performance.
