RELIABLE ON-LINE METHOD OF MEASURING MOISTURE DEWPOINT IN A HYDROCARBON STREAM

This paper describes the measurement of ppmw levels of water in a hydrocarbon stream using proprietary HTF? Al2O3 sensor technology. The challenges of attaining such a measurement with various technologies will be addressed along with theory of operation, test data and plant installation results. Emphasis will be placed on the practical use of the technology in real world applications. Measurement, calibration and validation techniques as well as sample system considerations will be addressed.
