The Effect of different Talc Grades used as a Glidant on In Vitro drug release from Enteric Coated Acetaminophen Tablets with EUDRAGIT? L 30D-55

Various talc grades were evaluated for their influence on In Vitro release from acetaminophen tablets, enteric coated with EUDRAGIT? L 30D-55. Similarity testing (f2) was used to evaluate the release profiles. It was concluded that at low concentrations Imperial 500 grade performed as a good substitute to Altalc 500V grade of talc. However at high concentrations Pharma M grade was more preferable to replacing Imperial 500.
