We studied the effect of addition of suspension to oil versus oil into suspension, volume of continuous phase versus volume of dispersion phase, dimension and position of mixing vessel and paddle, stirring speed and evaporation temperature on the drug release and particulate properties of sustained release amoxicillin microcapsules prepared by emulsion solvent-evaporation.
