Demonstration of Ingress Edge IP-Optical Packet Router in Wavelength Routed Optical Packet Switched Networks

This paper presents a novel architecture for an ingress edge IP-optical packet router. A mechanism that maps IP traffic into optical packets utilising a fast tuneable laser and a high-speed hardware platform is demonstrated.
