Under the operation with top gas recycling and waste plastics injection, the reduction of sinter is evidently accelerated and the blast furnace performance is improved. Lower CO_2 emission is available. Furthermore, the production is intensified and energy consumption tends to decrease. Finally, higher efficiency is expectable considering the possibility to realize compact blast furnace operation.
