Production of Direct Reduced Iron by a Sheet Material Insertion Metallization Method

摘要

A new DRi process named SMIMET was proposed and the bench scale tests were carried out. The productivity of DRi made from wet sheet is as same as that made from pellet. However, the pretreatment process can be omitted and any binders are not required by SMIMET process so that the plant investment becomes low.
