Arcelor Lorraine Blast Furnaces control at high PCI

Since their blow in after relining in 1996 and 1998, the results of the blast furnaces of Fiorange are in constant progress, excepted in 2003 degraded by problems of reliability. The 2004 results (figure 5, table 2) show progress realized in blast furnaces operation and contributed to the obtaining of the Excellence TPM award of the JIPM in 2004, December, 2005, May 2005 results confirm these improvements and have to become annual results.
