This paper presents the technical feasibility study of ultra-high speed data communications using WINDS satellite at high intense rain cities in Indonesia ( such as Jakarta, Bandung and Cibinong ). These tropical cities would be covered by WINDS with its one of MBA for Southeast Asia Coverage. By using our two years rainfall rate experiment at Bandung combined with other local rainfall rate data at Jakarta and Cibinong, we could evaluate the technical feasibility of 1-155 Mbps transmissions over Ka-band Satellite on WINDS coverage in Indonesia
