EM ALGORITHMS FORLOGISTIC SOFTWARE RELIABILITY MODELS

摘要

This paper treats two logistic software reliability models called the inflection S-shaped model and the log-logistic model, and develops an efficient iterative scheme to calculate the maximum likelihood estimates of the model parameters, via the EM (expectation-maximization) principle. Numerical examples are devoted to illustrate the effectiveness of the estimation algorithms proposed in this paper.
