Mercy Corps is an international disaster relief and development organization that reaches five million people in over thirty developing countries in fifteen different time zones. Within this context it is a challenge to share tools, information and lessons learned efficiently, so work began on a two-year grant project to create a digital library containing important internal documents and web resources, accessible to the worldwide staff via a web browser and CD-ROM. The project team consisted of a librarian and a technical support person.
