It was established that total body exposure of mice with millimeter waves caused a significant enhancement of natural killer cell cytotoxity after 24 hs exposure (exposure time ranged from 5 to 96 hours). The NK cell cytotoxity has been returned to normal level 24 hours after the cessation of exposure. The stimulation in NK cell activity was observed after exposure to millimeter waves both in vivo and in vitro. The possible mechanisms of millimeter wave effects are discussed.
