An approach for vibration delocalization and suppression of nearly periodic structures is presented, Piezoelectrie networks are synthesized to reduce the localization effect by absorbing the vibratory mechanical energy into the electric circuits and distributing it through an additional strong electrical wave channel. With the same network topology, vibration dissipation and suppression can be achieved by including resistant elements in the circuits, For a mistimed periodic structure under farced excitation, it is shown that the treatment can create a more uniformed distribution of response amplitude among substructures and also reduce vibration significantly.
