摘要

The Air Force Research Laboratory in coordination with the Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Program (JNLWP) has developed a Crowd Control M&S Roadmap. The principal goal of this roadmap effort is to develop the ability to realistically model crowd behavior before, during, and after an event during which non-lethal technologies may be deployed. The human component has yet to be fully assessed for use in predicting the interactions among non-lethal weapons (NLW), crowd behavior, and control force actions/reactions. This BRIMS panel will focus on a multi-disciplinary discussion on methods by which modelers can translate real-world situations and real-life experiences into quantifiable variables for behavior representation in crowd control models and simulations.
