THE TIME-FREQUENCY SPECTRAL ESTIMATION OF NONLINEAR VIBRATION SYSTEMS

In this paper, we use the Wigner distribution (WD) to estimate the time-frequency spectral of the nonlinear vibration of a cantilevel coupled-beam with mini-gap. The amplitude distortion and the frequency varying phenomenon is presented. The comparison of the WD method with fast Fourier transform (FFT) method is given. The results of the WD method is excellent.
