The corporate response to environmental issues has changed over the years and is changing now to meet the demands of sustainability.There are four opportunities for change in achieving sustainability:balancing the size and scope of environmental issues;resolving conflicts between individual or corporate interests and the common good;realigning the current corporate tendency to focus on improving existing systems and processes rather on transformational changes;and reframing the preference for solving problems rather than on seeking and benefiting from new opportunities.
