A reconfigurable shop floor control system based on components is introduced, related shop floor model framework, modeling method, system architecture, and components design are introduced, and system primary design technique as system structure, components partition and XML application are described. The system designed has been used to control two different types of shop floors in a machine tool company, which is configurable, scalable and reusable.
