摘要

Simulation research in current manufacturing process has been focused mainly on the cutting modeling. This paper presents a method of the simulation model using the concurrent engineering technique and optimization method. Its function, besides estimating the production cost and production time, is to optimize machining parameters and simulation. Therefore, the developed system differs from conventional product cost estimating system, in that it is structured to support concurrent engineering. This approach enables designers to evaluate and optimize feasible manufacturing processes in a consistent manner as early as possible during the development process.
