DMSC: a MDA architecture for data mining

Model-driven architecture brings adaptability, reusability and flexibility: metadata-driven tools store control information in repositories outside of programs and applications, can fulfill new requirements without affecting programs sharing it and without requiring recompilation of these programs. CWM defined the common specification for DW and BI tools to share metadata. Web service is a technology that allows applications to communicate with each other In a platform and programming language-independent manner over the web. Data Mining Service Center (DMSC) is an architecture based on the technology mentioned above. In this paper we introduce the design of DMSC, including UDDI specification enrichment etc.
