摘要

The present paper describes how the natural foraging ability of bees, and their subsequent production of honey, might be exploited to power gastrobots operating in an orange grove environment. The advantages of such an entomological association are discussed, along with the specific composition of honey as this relates to electricity generation in fuel cells. A specific scheme for converting honey into electricity is described, plus an analysis and estimate of the anticipated efficiency and electrical yield.
