I and my research colleagues have developed the new design photobioreactor incorporating microalgae, which have shown the high photosynthetic performance. A conical helical tubular photobioreactor was used in order to convert the high concentration of carbon dioxide in industrial waste gases, such as stack-emitted gases from thermal power plants, into valuable biomass using microalgae, aimed at establishing a photobioreactor system for microalgal mass culture.
