DYNAMIC FORMULATION OF LINKAGE-STRUCTURE COUPLED SYSTEMS USING FREE-INTERFACE METHOD IN STRUCTURAL DYNAMICS

摘要

A general method of modeling linkage-structure coupled dynamic systems is presented using free-interface method. With this method a better understanding of dynamic behavior of the system as a whole can be obtained for the prediction of its performance at high speed. This is achieved by first performing kinematic analysis of the mechanism providing its supporting system being fixed in space and taking the elastical effects of the structure into consideration This analytical procedure is believed to be the first method of this kind for the dynamic formulation of the linkage-structure coupled dynamics.
