摘要

In this paper, the modal parameters of a thin wall cantilever beam with flange joints are identified by steady sinusoidal exciting. But the calculated results by the FEM are different from the test data. It can be found that natural frequency of the cantilever beam is reduced duo to existance of the flange joints. By use of matrix perturbtion method, we find that the bending and shearing stiffness are lower 8.1% and 4.2% separately than the cantilever beam nb with rigid connection flange. After the modification of the FEM model, the calculated results become good coincident with the test data.
