We have shown in this paper a model for flow-induced crystallization associated to a molecular model of the viscoelastic constitutive equation. This model is to be compared to McHugh one (Doufas et al., 1999). It allows us to describe both a strain hardening during plane deformation and qualitative forming limit curves in two dimensions that outline the stabilizing role of strain-induced crystallization. This model remains qualitative for blow molding because (ⅰ) it does not contain any yield stress (ⅱ) a precise stability analysis has not been done yet. However these new development are not out of reach.
