摘要

The modified model gives a good estimation of the sample drying during the compression test. The understanding of the hardening process allows a better treatment of the plastometer test data. Most of the model parameters can be identified by using the plastometer test itself which makes it a powerful and complete tool to study the water content influence on the particle/fluid mixture global behaviour. The limits of Kozeny's expression of the liquid-solid interaction coefficient have been demonstrated in the particular case of sheared small particles but an optimised expression is yet to be found.
